This Week in the General Assembly: May 31st-June 4th

There aren’t a lot of bills up for hearing this week, but many are scheduled for consideration! This means you can’t testify on those bills, but you can tune in on Capitol TV to watch the vote or call your senators to lobby their votes directly.
These are definitely not all the bills being heard this week, rather a sampling of bills you, the members of the Women’s Caucus, may be interested in.

House Committee on Health and Human Services:
H5083: provides menstrual products in all public schools and prisons - support
S3: prohibits insurance companies varying premiums based on gender - support

Senate Committee on Labor:
S611: increases parental leave from 13 to 26 weeks - support
THURSDAY, JUNE 3RD:

S563: prevents landlords of owner-occupied housing from discriminating against LGBTQ+ people and amends outdated language - support
