Our August 2021 General Meeting of the Women's Caucus took place on Tue, Aug 24 at 7pm, via Zoom. We heard from State Senator Tiara Mack on criminal justice reform in Rhode Island, John Marion of Common Cause Rhode Island on state redistricting, and we discussed issues such as supporting mask mandates in schools and efforts to ensure a fair and democratic redistricting process. Also, we announced that Maggie Kain is the newest member of the RI Democratic Women's Caucus Executive Committee, filling the vacancy from Samantha Weiser becoming the new Chair. Congratulations Maggie! Glad to have you on board.
